Session Fees
Each therapist offers a free 10-15 minute phone consultation to answer a few brief questions, connect a little, and see if therapy together would be a good fit. Therapist fees below are based on education, years of experience, and certifications/training.

E. Ruby Tovar-Morin $170.00
30 Minute Sessions & 50+ Minute Sessions
The fee is prorated based on your standard fee set with your therapist
Reduced Fee
Each therapist reserves some reduced fee spaces and are offered based on the therapist’s current availability. A reduced fee is based on income and your current life factors are considered. Getting the help you need is important to us. If a reduced fee is not an option, the therapist you connect with will help connect you with resources and/or colleagues of Saans Lena Therapy to find a way for therapy to be financially possible for you. You may also visit our resources page to use one of the therapist locator websites.
Insurance: We are out-of-network providers
All therapists at Saans Lena Therapy are out-of-network providers and do not bill insurance. However, your therapist can provide you with a “super bill” which is like a receipt that clients/patients can submit to their insurance for potential direct reimbursement. The super bill includes details such as record of payment, diagnosis code(s), therapy session dates and codes, as well as your therapist’s license information and Saans Lena Therapy business information. It is recommended that you contact your insurance provider directly to find out if reimbursement is an option for counseling services with an out-of-network provider as well as asking about your insurance coverage such as, but not limited to:
– Your insurance coverage deductible
– What percentage of out-of-network counseling services your provider will directly reimburse you
– Any limitations on receiving out-of-network counseling services
– Any forms or paperwork necessary for receiving direct reimbursement from your insurance provider
– If there is anything else you should know or need to do in order to be reimbursed directly by your insurance provider
Saans Lena Therapy and your therapist at Saans Lena Therapy cannot guarantee reimbursement of any kind by your insurance provider, nor does your therapist know which insurance companies provide reimbursement. If you would like to find a provider that is within your insurance network, please contact your insurance provider directly for a list of in-network providers or visit our resources page to use one of the therapist locator websites.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients/patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider (therapist), and any other provider (therapist) you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400.00 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
